The deal.

By signing into Receipts you agree to these terms. They're between you and Abdi Bedel, a sole trader based in London, United Kingdom, who operates the app at receipts.abdibedel.com.

You sign in with an email-linked account. Keep your sign-in credentials to yourself — anything done from your account is treated as done by you. Tell us at contact@abdibedel.com if you think someone else got in.

Capture your own work, thoughts, and notes. Don't use the app to:

• Store other people's confidential information without their permission.
• Upload illegal content, malware, or anything that infringes someone else's rights.
• Probe, scrape, or attack the service or its sub-processors.
• Resell or rebrand Receipts as your own product.

We can suspend an account that's clearly being used this way. We'll explain why if we do.

Free covers two fixed nudges a day, a daily capture cap, and seven days of history. Paid is £12/month and unlocks configurable nudges, full history, image attachments, and three AI-generated angles per day. Prices may change for new customers; existing subscribers are told before any change affects their plan.

Payments run through Stripe. If a trial is offered, the card on file is charged at the end of the trial unless you cancel first. You can cancel any time from your Stripe customer portal — service continues to the end of the current paid period and doesn't renew.

We don't pro-rate refunds for partial months. If something clearly went wrong on our side, email us and we'll sort it.

The daily roll-up and angle suggestions are produced by an AI model (DeepSeek, Anthropic, or Google — your choice in Settings) from the captures you wrote. Treat the output as a draft: skim it before posting it anywhere public. We don't guarantee accuracy, and you're responsible for what you publish.

You own everything you put into Receipts. We get a narrow licence to store it, process it, and pass it to the AI provider you picked — only so the app can show it back to you and generate roll-ups. We don't train models on your captures and we don't share them with anyone outside the sub-processors listed in the privacy page.

Receipts is provided as-is. It's a small product run by one person — there's no SLA. We try to keep it up and we back up your data through Firebase, but you should keep your own export if a capture really matters.

To the extent allowed by law, our total liability for anything connected to the service is capped at the amount you paid in the previous twelve months, or £20 if that's higher. We're not liable for indirect or consequential losses (lost profit, missed posts, hurt feelings about a roll-up).

You can stop using Receipts at any time and delete your account by emailing contact@abdibedel.com. We can end the agreement if you breach these terms or if we wind the product down — in which case we'll give you a fair window to export your data.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes that can't be resolved by email go to the courts of England and Wales.

If we change these terms, the date at the top of this page updates and the change appears on the changelog. Continued use after a change means you accept the new version.
